Cornerstone Christian Academy entered two teams in the North East Ohio District Mock Trial Competition held Feb 21.

Each team consisted of four lawyers and four witnesses. Cornerstone defeated schools from North Canton, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, Lake Catholic, and Cardinal to win four out of four trials.

Cornerstone teams also won eight out of eight possible awards for Best Lawyer and Best Witness.

The Cornerstone Mock Trial Team was led by veteran seniors Bethany Cannon, Amy Zettle, and Jon Rhoden.
