PDF format allows you to view documents electronically on most computers. The freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print PDF files. With the free Reader, you can view and print PDF files across a broad range of hardware and software.
You might already have the Acrobat Reader installed as a plug-in to your web browser. If you do, clicking on a link to a PDF file will automaticallythe document in your browser. From there, you can print the document or save it to your hard drive.
To download a PDF file directly to your hard drive and bypass the
Acrobat Reader plug-in that displays the document in your web browser window, simple right click on the link and select "Save Target As..." (Internet Explorer users) or "Save Link As..." (Netscape users).
